This is a very evil/degrading place. They sell minority hair products but treat people of color like scum, I was followed the moment I walked inside the store. An elderly Korean man came from the back-room like vampire escaping the crypt.
They had the audacity to play Christian radio through the speakers. They seem to worship money and their hair products more than anything else.
I’m so hurt I’m genuinely considering a class action lawsuit/protest outside this establishment. Not a pleasant wa to be treated in 2023.
I hate this place so much.. My friend and I went there to just go look around because we were curious. We were greeted which is nice but as soon as he finished his greeting we were watched everywhere we went. We touched an eyeshadow pallet (which was horrible btw) and decided to put it back. We then touched some combs and decided to leave and not buy anything. When we were walking out the door we were chased and he asked us where we put the eyeshadow pallet. We then walked him and showed him that we put it back. The employees are just stupid and like to assume everyone in their store is shoplifting apparently. All he had to do was just open his eyes and see that the pallet was right there… I hate the fact that he was watching us the whole time and then accused us of stealing. I will never go back to this place and I recommend not to. As women and a POC, this was uncomfortable. Don’t ever go.
Love the customer service. I was greeted at the door by older gentleman was actually here for nail supply which they had limited supply but were very helpful to lead where it could be found and other options they had available. But their selection of hair and wigs is wide and ended up leaving with 12 packs of bundles grey and some purples & pinks 52in. Son and mom made sure to ask if I had found everything on my way out will definitely recommend.
MY BLACK FOLKS , DO NOT waste your time here. Racist and rude. My grandmother has lived in the area for over 40 years and they haven’t changed their behavior towards those of darker complexions. Better off at queens beauty supply in federal way.
How do you sell African -American products but choose to be racist towards the exact people who are giving you business ? Such foolishness..
I have never felt more disrespected in my life. I was followed the entire time I was in there. I went to try and smell a perfume spray and was practically tackled from multiple angles and then chastised, as if that wasn’t a normal behavior. I will never return here. Terrible place to spend money and don’t dare just browse the shelves or they’ll do everything but ask you to leave and if stayed any longer, I have no doubt they would have asked me to leave.
Every time I walk inside this guy comes out from the back and starts staring at me. I’ve never openly experienced this at a store and I’m black male. Make your prejudices less obvious, it’s not like you’re selling diamonds & gold SMH
It’s disgusting and disappointing to walk in a store where you genuinely want to spend money at and be constantly watched just because the employees assume that you’ll steal something. My friend wanted to buy some stuff a couple hours ago and was watched non stop, and even had the cops called on her, AFTER they checked the security tapes and saw nothing. Racial profiling needs to stop at this store. AND Clearly there are many others who have been subjected to this type of Incident so the employee need to do something about it. WORST store ever. I don’t want to speak for her but this is absolutely one of the most uncomfortable situation a black person could go through. Never have or will ever go to this store!!
The employee (young lady with gray/ lavender hair) was super helpful. I knew what I wanted and she grabbed it for me quickly. Very helpful since I'm walking with a walker and some of the aisles in the store are small. I was in and out in 10 minutes! Great service!
